Thinking of a hotel as a house, that is the concept of this hotel chain staged by Constance Guisset. Offering open areas for sharing, making public places more informal, rounding off angles, softening lines, and embracing colour … And so choosing sturdy furniture, but nothing like standard community or conventional hotel chain furniture. The Ankara tables, designed by Constance Guisset and produced by Matière Grise, perfectly fulfill this function of household furniture for collective use. The Novotel Suites concept is present throughout Europe and Matière Grise fits out some of the hotels in the chain, such as here in The Hague, in the Netherlands.
